Dear Bruins,
Welcome back to another amazing year at MVHS!
We assume that you all attended your first day of school...
(and if you didn't...make sure you go tomorrow?)
Here is a brief highlight of how the first day went:
Once everyone had a schedule in hand, the day was off to an amazing start. We hope you all enjoyed your classes, met some awesome new people, and hey, maybe even read a disclosure document ...or two...or four?
At lunch we had an fantastic raffle for tee shirts, candy, more candy, and some more candy. Remember, we will be doing the raffle every day at lunch this week so make sure to come join us in the commons and grab a ticket from a student council person!
There was also a... shall we say... lico-risky? lunchtime activity!!! We had 3 couples, two people (male and female) from each grade come in front of all their peers and bite opposite ends of a licorice rope and see how small they could get the licorice piece! NO HANDS ALLOWED. Thank you for volunteering, dear volunteers. You were all very brave.
If you didn't get to see them, come tomorrow and enjoy another lunchtime activity and maybe even volunteer to participate!
Even if your peers laugh at you...just know they are laughs of admiration!
ALSO.
Friday at 4:30 p.m. there will be a tailgate party!
Face painting, crazy activities, and a lot of cool people.
Come and bring your friends!
After the tailgate, we will be loading the bus and going to BOUNTIFUL
to cheer like the BRUIN CRAZIES we are for our fantastic football team!
You need to buy a ticket at lunch to ride the bus.
They are $2 each. Get them soon before we sell out or else you will be spending your own gas money and driving through crazy traffic!
Have a great second day of school tomorrow!
Make sure you follow this blog and show your bruin pride!
